Qualifications and responsibilities for this BLM Tube Laser Operator position include:
- Minimum 12 months of proven experience operating a BLM Tube Laser; 3+ years of experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with BLM software such as PartViewer, ArTube, ProTube Express, etc. is preferred
- Operate the BLM 8.2 Compact Tube Laser to cut various shapes, sizes, and materials
- Set up the laser, including nesting appropriate parts from each work order
- Monitor cutting process and perform routine part checks to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Load and unload raw materials when needed (with occasional assistance provided)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and optimize cutting parameters for different materials
- Train additional operators and serve as the primary point of expertise on the machine
Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
