We are seeking a Automation Project Manager based in Duluth, GA (hybrid) to lead high-impact engineering projects across North America and beyond. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Automation Project Manager position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering and PMP/CAPM certification required.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in power, automation, and information systems for packaging/process systems or automated manufacturing.
- Experience managing scope, schedule, and budget on projects over $2MM, including procurement and cross-discipline coordination.
- Strong background in Rockwell Automation, PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, and industrial network protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
- Familiar with ISA 88, ISA 95, OMAC PackML, and SCADA platforms including FactoryTalk, Ignition, Aveva, and GE.
- Proficient in designing and reviewing electrical/automation systems and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
- Must lead and mentor internal project staff, manage field activities, and oversee project delivery from feasibility through CQV.
- Willingness to travel 30% (primarily domestic) and support projects both on-site and remotely.
Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
