Description
We are seeking an experienced Architect to join a well-established, privately held real estate development organization based in the North Shore Chicago area. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to thoughtfully designed multifamily residential projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The firm maintains a long-standing track record of successful developments and offers strong potential for professional growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders across architecture, engineering, and construction throughout all project phases
- Develop and manage Revit models, including preparation of schematic designs, design development drawings, construction documents, and presentation materials
- Assist in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams, including review of submittals and shop drawings
- Participate in project meetings and support coordination efforts across disciplines
- Conduct occasional site visits to support project progress and quality
- Maintain organized drawing sets and assist with document control and project file management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- 5–10 years of professional architectural experience
- Proficiency in Revit, including documentation, detailing, and model management
- Experience with multifamily residential projects preferred; exposure to larger-scale or developer-led work is a plus
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Working knowledge of BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks is a plus
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
