Build your future as a Mechanical Construction Foreman in Greenville, SC, with a growing industrial contractor offering a supportive team culture and opportunities to develop your field leadership skills. Lead hands-on crews on projects ranging from $1 million to $5 million, including facility renovations, retrofits, and installations within existing industrial facilities, with day travel typically within 90 minutes.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Construction Foreman position include:
- 5+ years of experience in pipefitting, welding, millwright work, ductwork, or metal fabrication preferred, with strong hands-on trade knowledge and field leadership abilities.
- Oversee daily crew execution and productivity on industrial construction projects, reporting to the Superintendent.
- Execute two-week look-ahead planning and coordinate materials, manpower, and jobsite workflow.
- Coordinate work involving pipefitting, welding, rigging, equipment moves and installation, ductwork, commercial/industrial HVAC, and metal fabrication.
- Enforce safety and quality standards, conduct daily toolbox talks, and ensure safety incidents are reported.
- Monitor labor performance and schedule adherence while mentoring crew members for advancement.
- OSHA and rigging certifications preferred; welding certifications are a plus. A college degree is preferred but not required.
- Work a four-day, 10-hour schedule, with overtime expected during shutdowns and occasional weekend work.
Salary: $33–$40/hour, commensurate with experience, plus overtime.
