Join an established commercial glazing company as a Commercial Glass & Glazing Project Manager in Jessup, MD, where a collaborative team and active portfolio of commercial projects offer the opportunity to make an immediate impact. Dedicated estimators handle much of the estimating and shop drawing work, allowing you to focus on project execution, coordination, and change orders.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Glass & Glazing Project Manager position include:
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience, with strong commercial glass and glazing experience highly preferred.
- Experience with curtain wall, storefront, interior glass partitions, or related building-envelope installation projects.
- Manage multiple projects at different stages, overseeing schedules, budgets, coordination, and change orders.
- Communicate effectively with general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams to keep projects moving.
- Bring practical technical knowledge, a team-oriented approach, and the adaptability to learn specialized software and follow established billing, purchase order, and project execution procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required; direct industry experience and technical knowledge are prioritized. OSHA 10 certification is expected, with certification opportunities available through the company.
- Must currently reside in the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area and work fully in-office in Jessup, Monday–Friday, primarily 8 AM–4 PM, with flexible start times.
- Visit local jobsites throughout the DMV area as needed; a personal vehicle is preferred, with a fuel card provided and a company vehicle available after the 90-day probationary period.
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
