This Manufacturing Product Manager opportunity in Sarasota, FL brings hands-on ownership of physical products and portfolio performance across the full product lifecycle.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Product Manager position include:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, sales, or marketing, including manufactured physical/hardware product experience and new product development exposure.
- Own assigned manufactured-product portfolio cradle-to-grave, including market analysis, NPD, commercialization, pricing, P&L/profitability, forecasting/SIOP, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Manage product performance, profitability, and long-term strategy of assigned product lines.
- Identify and prioritize new products, features/advantages/benefits, and product improvement opportunities.
- Develop customer requirements, product charters, and research-based business plans; participate in voice of the customer activities and research programs.
- Help lead key new product development through concept, prototype, pilot production, product launches, and customer feedback with support teams.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, warranty activity, product quality, pricing, costs, market share, and competitive activity; create and maintain product performance dashboards with corrective actions.
- Support SIOP forecasting by developing short- and long-range forecasts by product, channel, and average selling price; travel up to 10% to meet with customers, dealers, and partners.
Salary: $90,000 per year, bonus potential
