Description

Take the next step in a hands-on engineering career with a strong focus on plant improvements, safety, and continuous improvement in the San Francisco Bay Area. This Manufacturing Engineer / Project Lead opportunity in Union City, CA combines technical leadership with visible project ownership across the plant.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer / Project Lead position include:

  • 5+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience, including team leadership and cross-functional coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSME or BSEE).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and coach groups; lead projects from planning through completion.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and productivity improvement projects using Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Actively support the plant safety program through safety committee participation and technical support to eliminate hazards and improve ergonomics.
  • Develop and write preventative maintenance programs for process equipment to reduce failures and downtime.
  • Provide technical leadership for conceptualization, design, development, construction, installation, and support of productivity and process improvement projects.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
