Build your future supporting major roadway projects across the U.S. with a team that values flexibility and real employee investment. This Roadway Survey Technician opportunity is based in Asheville, NC, with nationwide travel and field-first work on grades, layouts, and topographic surveying.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Roadway Survey Technician position include:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant surveying experience, with the ability to independently operate survey equipment
- Construction/roadway surveying experience preferred (crew leadership not required)
- Perform construction and roadway surveying, including grades, layouts, and topographic surveys
- Complete standard survey tasks and collect accurate field data
- Support both field and office survey activities
- Use Carlson and Trimble Business Center; CAD experience is a plus
- Travel approximately 50–60% nationwide, including overnight travel
- Work extended hours during major project startups when needed
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
