Structural Design Engineer, PE is an exciting opportunity in the Dallas, TX sales office, supporting and designing with the Grapeland, TX team.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer , PE position include:
- Mid-level structural engineering experience with commercial steel design required (joist background is a plus).
- Civil engineering degree required; PE required (Texas PE preferred).
- AutoCAD proficiency required.
- Experience with RISA or comparable structural software preferred; SolidWorks also mentioned.
- Design and engineering work including steel project design, connections, and load calculations.
- Provide commercial structural design support in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a self-starter.
Salary: $115,000+ per year, based on experience.
Benefits: 3 weeks vacation, ROA bonus up to 33.5% with historical average around 27%, profit sharing bonus, and an employee stock purchase program.
