Description
An industry-leading global food ingredient manufacturer is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic for their Watertown, MA facility on second shift (2:30 PM – 10:30 PM). Qualifications and responsibilities for this 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic position include:
- 1–5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience working on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair bakery and food production equipment including conveyors, dryers, ovens, and screening systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on assembly and packaging machinery
- Experience working with PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred), VFDs, and analog circuitry is a strong plus
- Conduct machine setup, equipment installation, and system debugging to improve reliability
- Perform mechanical repairs such as replacing motors, lubricating rollers, and general equipment maintenance
- Assist with maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment performance tracking
- Basic MIG or TIG welding skills are beneficial for equipment repair and maintenance tasks
Salary: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
