Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer (P.E.) position include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, focused on commercial building systems
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (any U.S. state accepted) and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proficient in REVIT, BIM, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office; strong computer and modeling skills are essential
- Design and manage power, lighting, security, fire alarm, and technology systems with a 50/50 mix of hands-on design and project management
- Utilize Scan to BIM processes, perform electrical load calculations (NEC), and ensure code compliance
- Attend site visits, client meetings, and provide construction administration and technical support
- Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Demonstrate strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience (higher for exceptional candidates).
