Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical R&D Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of mechanical design/drafting experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), Inventor (3D), and Microsoft Office; familiarity with FEA analysis tools like Nastran
- Experience with green tire manufacturing, mechanical systems, and related tooling applications
- Generate innovative product concepts and conduct feasibility studies from ideation to production
- Collaborate with internal teams and global customers to refine design concepts and specifications
- Oversee prototype development, validation testing, and support commissioning activities
- Ensure designs meet technical, quality, and cost objectives while fostering cross-functional communication
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for testing and customer support
Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
