Qualifications and responsibilities for this Water Resource Project Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; EIT or PE preferred
- 5+ years of experience in water resources or related design work
- Experience with roadway drainage design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, hydraulics/hydrology, bridge scour, sediment transport, and 1D/2D hydraulic modeling
- Familiarity with MDOT and/or MDE regulations strongly preferred
- Proficiency with TR-55, TR-20, HEC-RAS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MS Office Suite
- Provide design support for major project tasks and technical supervision when needed
- Assist in proposal, budget, and schedule preparation for project opportunities
- Implement quality control procedures and serve as client liaison
- Potential to serve as Project Team Leader, directing day-to-day project technical requirements
Salary: $72,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
