Take your construction career to the next level with an exciting opportunity as a Traveling Construction Superintendent based out of Key Largo, FL! This position offers the chance to be on-site for a ground-up grocery store project in one of Florida’s most scenic locations — with full support from a tight-knit and accessible leadership team. You’ll work with a well-established national general contractor known for building in 15 states, managing remodels and new construction projects ranging from $650K to $10M. If you're ready to lead on-site, travel, and take pride in top-tier grocery retail builds, this is the role for you.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Traveling Construction Superintendent position include:
- 100% on-site supervision of remodel and ground-up retail/grocery construction projects
- Experience managing commercial construction projects from demo through completion
- Proficient with Procore for daily reports, RFIs, submittals, and scheduling
- Comfortable managing subcontractors, holding site meetings, and ensuring safety compliance
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively via email and cell
- Previous experience with national retailers, grocery stores, or fast-paced commercial work preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide as needed
- Must be able to start immediately — next project begins in Key Largo, FL
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
