Qualifications and responsibilities for this Toolroom Supervisor position include:
- Minimum 15 years of experience supervising injection mold tool rooms with hands-on mold building expertise
- Proven experience working with Class 101, 102, 103, and 104 thermoplastic injection molds
- Lead and oversee tool room operations from initial design to full production and delivery
- Manage a team across shifts, ensuring build schedules, staffing, and performance are met
- Act as a liaison between tooling, engineering, and program management teams
- Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and preventive maintenance strategies
- Ensure adherence to ISO, FDA, and regulatory standards in a cleanroom/medical manufacturing environment
- Evaluate and prioritize toolroom workflow while mentoring and training mold makers and technicians
Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
