Qualifications and responsibilities for this Tool Maker – Machinist position include:
- 8+ years of experience in CNC and manual machining, with expertise in high-precision toolmaking
- Ability to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, mills, and Wire EDM equipment
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM (Mastercam) for designing and fabricating tools and jigs
- Capable of holding extremely tight tolerances (+/- .0002) and inspecting work for quality compliance
- Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&T, and machining prototype/short-run parts from engineering drawings
- Collaborate with engineers to develop new product prototypes and improve manufacturing processes
- Perform maintenance and repair of tools to ensure optimal functionality and tool longevity
- Comply with company’s quality management system and maintain ethical practices and a safe work environment
Salary: $30.00- $45.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
