Qualifications and responsibilities for this Tekla Steel Detailer position include:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience detailing structural steel using Tekla Structures
- Create detailed 3D Tekla models for beams, columns, bracing, connections, and miscellaneous metals
- Produce shop drawings, erection drawings, and material lists compliant with AISC and AWS standards
- Interpret architectural, structural, and renovation drawings including existing conditions
- Detail custom connections, modifications to existing steel, and phased renovation work
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to resolve RFIs and clashes
- Generate CNC files, BOMs, and reports directly from Tekla models
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting renovation-driven deadlines
Salary: $25 – $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
