Qualifications and responsibilities for this Technical Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred); 4–10 years of relevant experience required.
- Proven expertise in PLC and HMI programming using Rockwell Automation and/or Siemens systems.
- Strong working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, VFDs, and motion control technologies.
- Hands-on experience with control system design, electrical schematics, and mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD; experience with manufacturing information systems such as Ignition or Wonderware.
- Ability to lead projects from concept through implementation while managing timelines, budgets, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for root cause analysis and process improvement across maintenance and production operations.
- Willingness to be on-call and work outside standard business hours as needed for projects or shutdowns.
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
