Qualifications and responsibilities for this Superintendent position include:
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience – Oversee all field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards
- Experience with government contracting and secure facilities – Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and client requirements
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications – Review plans thoroughly, identify conflicts, and generate RFIs proactively
- Leadership and trade coordination skills – Supervise subcontractors, schedule activities, and conduct weekly foreman and safety meetings
- Safety-focused mindset – Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and carry out toolbox talks and jobsite inspections
- Scheduling expertise – Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules and coordinate deliveries with clients and building engineers
- Client-facing communication skills – Maintain open communication, provide daily progress reports, and participate in inspections
- Willingness to travel (FL, AL, GA and other states) – Manage traveling projects while maintaining strong responsiveness and availability
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. GSA per diem + Bonus.
