This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, highly respected structural steel organization as a Structural Steel Project Manager in Winter Springs, FL. This company has been operating for nearly four decades, is known for its employee longevity, flexibility, and lack of micromanagement, and specializes in complex renovation projects for a major national retailer—offering stability, variety, and long-term career growth.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Steel Project Manager position include:
- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication, renovation, or miscellaneous metals
- Manage renovation and retrofit steel projects ranging from $125K to $5M
- Oversee beams, columns, channels, and other structural steel components
- Coordinate schedules, budgets, purchasing, and subcontractors
- Review drawings, contracts, and scopes of work for accuracy and compliance
- Utilize Tekla for purchase orders and coordination; Procore and Bluebeam exposure preferred
- Conduct regular job site visits (approximately 40%) throughout Florida
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, contractors, and clients
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
