Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer, PE position include:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential structural design, including new home foundations
- Strong understanding of wood framing, slab-on-grade foundations, and windstorm design (TWIA experience preferred)
- Proficiency in structural analysis tools such as RISA, ETABS, or Enercalc
- Conduct structural analysis and design for single-family and multifamily homes
- Ensure code compliance with IRC, IBC, and regional standards
- Coordinate with architects, builders, and city officials on plan approvals
- Provide construction support including site visits and client interface
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus opportunities.
