Qualifications and responsibilities for this Steel Fabrication Estimator & Project Coordinator position include:
- Strong math skills, including Algebra, Geometry, and basic Trigonometry
- Ability to read and interpret structural and engineering PDF drawings
- Prepare detailed material take-offs and estimates from drawings and specifications
- Develop cut sheets and calculate sizes for custom steel parts
- Coordinate with the Shop Manager to ensure production timelines are met
- Collaborate with the Treasurer on capital expenditures and staffing
- Experience in miscellaneous steel fabrication and familiarity with fabrication processes
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Plus a guaranteed $10,000 bonus.
