They are seeking a Stationary Engineer 3rd Class to help maintain their well-kept campus while supporting a meaningful mission of caring for elderly residents with respect and compassion.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Stationary Engineer 3rd Class position include:
- 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer License (or higher) – operate and support boiler, chiller, and mechanical systems within the facility
- 2+ years of maintenance or stationary engineering experience – perform preventive maintenance including filters, belts, motors, pumps, and greasing
- Basic boiler maintenance knowledge – assist with inspections and coordinate with contractors performing major boiler work
- Familiarity with chiller plants and cooling towers – monitor systems and report issues while contractors handle major repairs
- Mechanical maintenance skills – diagnose and repair motors, drives, pumps, and similar equipment
- Basic electrical and plumbing troubleshooting – repair fixtures, switches, receptacles, valves, cartridges, and similar components
- General building maintenance abilities – minor carpentry, drywall patching, painting, and facility upkeep
- Strong communication and customer service skills – interact respectfully with residents and staff while completing work orders efficiently
Salary: $30 - $38 per hour, commensurate with experience.
