Join a growing electronics manufacturing operation as an SMT Technician (Second Shift) in Canton, MA, supporting a fully automated Surface Mount Technology production line. This direct-hire opportunity involves running advanced screen printing, pick-and-place, reflow, and inspection equipment to produce high-quality circuit board assemblies in a modern, well-equipped facility. Qualifications and responsibilities for this SMT Technician (Second Shift) position include:
- Ability to work the 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM (ET) shift
- High School diploma or equivalent and authorization to work in the U.S.
- Technician I: entry-level experience preferred; Technician II: 2–4+ years of SMT production experience in a high-volume environment
- Operate and monitor SMT equipment including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens
- Prepare and verify components, load feeders, and stage materials for production
- Perform inspection processes to ensure product consistency and quality control standards are met
- IPC-A-610 certification preferred; IPC-711 certification and board rework experience a plus
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance; escalate issues as needed
- Follow IPC and internal quality procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Salary: $20.00 – $29.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
