A growing organization is seeking a Site Work Estimator in Dunstable, MA. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Site Work Estimator position include:
- 5+ years of estimating experience in site development, earthwork, excavation, utilities, and grading - Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates
- Strong field background in excavation or heavy civil work - Analyze site conditions and assess constructability
- Proficiency in Excel, Insite, and Bluebeam - Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications - Identify scope requirements and risk factors
- Knowledge of equipment production rates and crew sizing - Estimate labor, materials, trucking, and subcontractor costs
- Experience soliciting and evaluating subcontractor pricing - Develop comprehensive bid proposals
- Strong analytical and organizational skills - Maintain cost databases and support change order pricing
- Effective communication skills - Coordinate with project managers and attend occasional pre-bid meetings
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
