We are seeking a Site Superintendent for a position at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates located within 1–1.5 hours south of Portsmouth who are looking to work on impactful and rewarding federal projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Site Superintendent position include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience supervising construction projects
- OSHA 30-Hour certification required; EM 385-1-1 training preferred
- Proficiency in construction software like Procore
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and timelines
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Maintain accurate records including inspections, progress reports, and change orders
- Lead and motivate site crews while enforcing safety standards and PPE usage
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including two weeks’ vacation accrued weekly during the first year, 40 hours of sick time, six paid holidays, disability coverage, 50/50 split health coverage including dental and vision, and a Simple IRA program with a 3% employer match after 90 days of employment.
