We’re seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer for an immediate, on-site role in Aberdeen, MD. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Site Safety and Health Officer position include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an on-site health and safety officer in a construction setting
- Certifications required: OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER, OSHA 30-Hour Construction, CPR/First Aid; asbestos experience or licensure required
- Oversee compliance with all safety regulations related to asbestos, demolition, and excavation
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and emergency response procedures
- Conduct audits, inspections, incident investigations, and maintain all related documentation
- Lead safety training for site personnel and ensure appropriate PPE usage
- Serve as the primary safety liaison between site workers, management, and regulatory authorities
- Must be able to work full-time onsite, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
