Qualifications and responsibilities for this Shop Technician position include:
- Minimum 1+ years of general shop or construction experience
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic fabrication tasks
- Fabrication experience with a strong emphasis on woodworking; ideal candidates will have carpentry and cabinetry experience (metal work is a plus but not required)
- Willingness to learn and be an active, collaborative team member
- Use and maintain power tools and construction equipment safely
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
- Travel occasionally to jobsites, including overnight stays when needed
- Assist in fabrication and installation of elevator interiors and shop upkeep
Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
