Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Project Manager / Commercial Estimator position include:
- Minimum 10 years of commercial construction experience, with at least 5 years in project management or estimating.
- Develop conceptual and preliminary budgets, manage bidding processes, and analyze subcontractor/vendor proposals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore (or similar), Bluebeam, and Sage 100.
- Prepare/manage budgets, scopes, schedules, and oversee project execution in partnership with field teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, municipal approvals, and permitting.
- Lead client communication, progress meetings, and foster long-term relationships.
- Coordinate submittals, change orders, and financial tracking across all project phases.
- Ability to work 80% in-office and 20% on-site within the Des Moines Metro area.
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
