Join our firm as a Senior Plant Manager based in Landover, MD, and play a pivotal role in steering our coffee roasting and packaging facility to new heights. This position offers the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a multimillion-dollar investment aimed at transforming our facility and upgrading our production capabilities.
Qualifications and Responsibilities for this Senior Plant Manager Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Required experience in roast and ground coffee production; familiarity with the broader food and beverage industry is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage complex operations, with a direct report team of six including Production, Maintenance, QHSE, CI and Training, HR, and Plant City Manager.
- Proven track record in implementing LEAN initiatives, with Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strategic oversight of the entire production process, focusing on safety, quality, cost, and business responsiveness.
- Develop and implement capital budgets, operational strategies, and continuous improvement processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders across different regions, including the executive team and international partners, to align business practices and strategies.
Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
