We’re looking for a Senior Paving Estimator to join the team in Bristow, VA. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Paving Estimator position include:
- 5+ years of estimating experience in asphalt/paving; highly experienced commercial estimators may also be considered
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to create accurate cost estimates
- Experience working on commercial or civil construction projects
- Proficiency with estimating software; any system is acceptable (internal software provided)
- Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings to assess project scope and gather relevant data
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and vendor pricing to ensure complete coverage of work scope
- Collaborate with project management and operations teams to develop scopes of work and proposals
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a performance-based bonus.
