Join a highly respected, 75-person MEP consulting firm in Des Moines, Iowa as a Senior MEP Mechanical Engineer and play a key role in driving the company's expansion into new midmarket cities. With a strong reputation in the healthcare, education, and industrial sectors, you’ll work on complex, code-intensive projects while leading client-facing initiatives and mentoring junior staff in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior MEP Mechanical Engineer position include:
- 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience within the AEC industry
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
- Strong client-facing and project management experience
- Ability to lead the mechanical design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, Design Master, and AutoCAD preferred
- Comfortable mentoring junior engineers and design technicians
- Willingness to be involved in remote production coordination and face-to-face client meetings
- Desire to contribute to the strategic growth and culture of a tight-knit, responsive team
Salary: $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
