Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Mechanical Designer – Actuation & Controls position include:
- Strong proficiency in parametrically based CAD software (ProE Creo preferred) – Create and develop 3D mechanical designs for electro-magnetic actuation and control products
- Experience producing detailed, production-ready engineering drawings – Prepare drawings in accordance with company standards and documentation practices
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (prismatic machining, plastic injection molding, low-pressure casting, mechanical components and fasteners) – Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
- Ability to interpret hydraulic and electronic schematics – Support integrated electro-hydraulic system designs
- Experience managing engineering changes and parts databases – Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement efforts
- Cross-functional collaboration skills – Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, commercial teams, and global partners
- Analytical problem-solving abilities and self-driven work ethic – Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder – Work on-site in Brookfield, WI
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
