Step into a fast-paced and rewarding role as a Senior Electrician in New York City (Five Boroughs), where you’ll work on high-end residential and select commercial projects for a respected electrical contractor known for its strong culture and client relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys hands-on work, and can manage multiple job sites daily while delivering top-tier craftsmanship and service.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Electrician position include:
- 10+ years of experience in high-end residential electrical work; commercial experience a plus
- Strong expertise in low voltage systems, LED lighting, dimming systems, and panel upgrades
- Travel across all five boroughs daily, managing 5–6 active job sites while carrying tools
- Perform hands-on electrical work including installations, troubleshooting, and service calls
- Support project management tasks including material takeoffs, coordination, and quality control
- Ensure all work complies with NYC and NEC electrical codes
- Demonstrate strong professionalism, communication skills, and client-facing etiquette
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
Salary: $33 to 35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
