Join a well-established commercial refrigeration service company based in Hayward, CA, serving the Bay Area including San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, and the East Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join a stable, close-knit team that services high-end commercial and large residential properties. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Commercial Refrigeration Technician position include:
- 8+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration service and maintenance
- EPA Certification required
- Strong knowledge of refrigerants for walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines
- Experience working with propane-based refrigerants is highly preferred
- Proficient in diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
- Retrofitting experience is a major plus (not a full installation role)
- Ability to work independently across a wide service area in the Bay Area
- Participate in an on-call rotation every 6 weeks
Salary: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
