Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior CNC Programmer position include:
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience (based on education level) developing and optimizing NC programs for multi-axis CNC machines including Mazak, Okuma, and DMG Mori
- Experience with 5-axis milling and multi-axis lathe/turning centers setting up and operating vertical and horizontal mills and live tooling turning centers with dual turrets/single spindle
- Proficiency in G-code and Mazatrol editing, writing, and adjusting programs for complex and varied production runs
- Mastercam experience creating tool paths, modeling components, and supporting inspection processes
- Ability to recreate and modify 3D models from engineering drawings to support accurate programming and manufacturing
- Experience working with metals producing precision components for centrifugal pump applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills improving processes for cost reduction, standardization, and on-time delivery
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with supervisors, technicians, and machinists and sharing best practices
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
