A 100% employee-owned civil engineering firm is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development in Los Angeles, CA to support exciting projects that shape Southern California communities. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development position include:
- Must have an active PE certification and be local to the Los Angeles area; relocation is not available.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university.
- At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in land development.
- Manage land development projects from entitlements through construction support.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, determine scope of work, prepare fees, conduct site investigations, establish schedules, and finalize proposals.
- Participate in business development with prospective clients and maintain ongoing relationships with current clients.
- Manage up to two Project Managers overseeing 4 to 8 engineering team members.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, team building, and technical design skills.
Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
