We’re actively hiring a Remote 5-Axis CNC Programmer for a contract position. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-tolerance aerospace machining projects while working independently with a forward-thinking team that values innovation, quality, and advanced manufacturing technology.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Remote 5-Axis CNC Programmer position include:
- 3+ years of experience programming multi-axis CNC machines, specifically 5-axis equipment.
- Proficiency in Mastercam.
- Ability to interpret complex aerospace part drawings and 3D models with GD&T knowledge.
- Experience with CNC machines such as Mazak, Okuma, Makino, Haas, or similar.
- Develop and verify 5-axis CNC programs and Vericut projects for high-tolerance aerospace parts.
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for materials like titanium, Inconel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and part quality.
- Support continuous improvement efforts for cycle time and tool life enhancements.
- Provide detailed setup instructions, tooling lists, and ensure program documentation complies with AS9100/ISO standards.
Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
