Step into a high-impact opportunity as a Quality Manager in Staten Island, NY, where you will play a key role on a major public transit infrastructure project from Notice to Proceed through Final Completion. This is an exciting chance to join a team delivering critical work in the transportation sector, with full-time on-site leadership responsibility and the ability to directly influence quality, compliance, and project success on a high-visibility assignment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Manager position include:
- 7+ years of full-time QA/QC management experience on civil, infrastructure, transit, or public-sector construction projects
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing project-specific Quality Plans
- Serve as the dedicated, on-site Quality Manager from NTP through Final Completion
- Lead all QA/QC activities including inspections, documentation, compliance verification, and corrective actions
- Interface with MTA representatives on audits, submittals, reports, and all quality-related matters
- Track and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs) while overseeing subcontractor compliance with quality standards
- Maintain QA/QC records, inspection logs, and provide updates to executive leadership
Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
