Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Inspector position include:
- 3–5 years minimum machine shop inspection experience (non-negotiable) – Perform detailed inspections of machined parts and assemblies
- Strong blueprint reading skills – Ensure components meet engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Complete understanding of GD&T – Verify tolerances and geometric requirements accurately
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) – Conduct surface plate inspections and document findings
- Aerospace manufacturing experience (preferred) – Maintain high standards in a regulated production environment
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards (preferred) – Support internal audits and quality system compliance
- Experience with gage calibration processes – Utilize Gage Trak software for tracking and calibration (preferred)
- Strong communication and documentation skills – Collaborate with machinists and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues
Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Overtime paid at time and a half.
