Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of engineering or project management experience in a food processing or related manufacturing environment
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to manage mechanical systems including HVAC, electrical, and conveyor systems
- Proven experience managing large-scale capital projects, including contractor oversight and equipment installation
- Ability to interpret and read engineering plans and collaborate cross-functionally with plant leadership
- Willingness to travel between facilities, with primary work based in New Hampton, IA
- Strong communication skills with a team-focused mindset
- Experience in egg processing or similar liquid/dry food operations is highly desirable
- Comfortable with hands-on, involved project execution from planning through implementation
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a lucrative bonus program (up to 50%), 401(k) with 2% match, standard medical and dental coverage, negotiable time off, and relocation assistance up to $30,000.
