Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Engineer / Chemical Engineer position include:
- BS in Chemical Engineering and a Washington State PE license required; minimum of 5 years of industry experience strongly preferred
- Develop PFDs and P&IDs; perform material balance calculations and process logic diagrams
- Size and specify pumps, blowers, vessels, heat exchangers, control and manual valves, and instruments
- Lead project execution from scope, budget, design, procurement, to shipment and commissioning
- Travel 25–30% globally to assist with plant startups and customer site commissioning
- Define control system configurations and potentially contribute to process control programming
- Coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders; manage changes and documentation
- Oversee design documentation, ensure compliance with codes, manage budgets, and support safe work environments
Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
