Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Engineer (Architectural/Structural) position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, or Building Science Engineering; perform forensic investigations involving structural failures, moisture intrusion, and concrete deterioration
  • EIT certification required (PE in progress preferred); support 558 construction defect cases and expert witness assignments through technical analysis and documentation
  • 2–5 years of forensic, structural, enclosure, or repair-related experience; conduct field inspections, condition assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Experience with concrete repair, façade systems, waterproofing, or forensic investigations preferred; assist in designing concrete repair and structural strengthening solutions
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD/Revit; prepare engineering calculations, repair drawings, and technical specifications
  • Strong technical writing skills; develop detailed forensic reports, defect mapping, and evidence logs
  • Comfortable performing fieldwork including ladders, roofs, lifts, and confined spaces; participate in construction-phase services and progress observations
  • Ability to coordinate with senior engineers, attorneys, clients, and contractors; contribute to asset management assessments and mentor junior staff

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
