Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Engineer (Water Resources) position include:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – Lead and oversee water resource design projects from concept through completion
- Experience in water resources engineering – Develop and review hydrologic and hydraulic models and drainage designs
- Strong background in civil design – Prepare plans, specifications, and technical reports
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and permitting – Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
- Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software – Perform design calculations and modeling
- Project management experience preferred – Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills – Interface with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field – Provide technical expertise and mentorship as needed
Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
