Step into a leadership role as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Modesto, CA with a respected full-service civil engineering and land development firm that has been shaping communities for over 55 years! Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Civil Engineer (PE) position include:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California (or ability to obtain within 1 year) – Lead civil site design and stamp improvement plans
- 3–5+ years of civil engineering experience – Manage land development projects from concept through construction
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D – Prepare grading, drainage, and utility plans
- Project management experience – Oversee budgets, schedules, and submittal deadlines
- Strong knowledge of wet utility design and calculations – Ensure accuracy and compliance with local standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and field data – Coordinate design adjustments as needed
- Experience preparing plans for subdivisions, commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects – Support diverse land use developments
- Strong communication skills – Coordinate with clients, public agencies, and subconsultants while leading internal design teams
Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
