Join a well-established, privately owned fabrication company located just one hour north of Pittsburgh in Kennerdell, PA. We’re hiring a Pressure Vessel Draftsman to support our growing operations by producing fabrication-ready drawings for storage tanks and pressure vessels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a tight-knit team in a laid-back, non-corporate environment where your expertise is valued and your work directly supports industrial projects across the region.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Pressure Vessel Draftsman position include:
- 3+ years of drafting experience in pressure vessel, tank, or heavy industrial fabrication
- PE license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor; 3D CAD modeling experience preferred
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for vessels and tanks per project specs
- Create fabrication and assembly drawings in compliance with ASME, API, AWWA, and NFPA codes
- Incorporate design changes from engineers and ensure drawing accuracy
- Support shop and field teams with drawing interpretation and revisions
- Communicate with fabrication managers to resolve technical drawing issues
Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
