Qualifications and responsibilities for this Power Systems Field Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of field experience in power systems; switchgear/high voltage experience required
- Perform testing on low, medium, and high voltage systems including transformers, breakers, relays, switches, and substations
- Proficient with high voltage test equipment; knowledge of low/medium voltage equipment also necessary
- Experience using Adobo, Omicron, and similar testing software
- Ability to troubleshoot control circuits and protection systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and protection schemes
- Available for extensive in-state travel with seasonal flexibility and on-call rotation
- AA in Electrical Power or equivalent experience; strong computer skills and safety focus required
Salary: $50 - $70 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus overtime.
