We are seeking a Ports Structural Engineer to join our team and work on exciting designs for piers, wharves, marinas, and vessel mooring structures. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Ports Structural Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; EIT required (PE preferred)
- Experience or internship/co-op experience working in a team environment
- Structural analysis and detailing of concrete, steel, and timber structures
- Prepare design calculations under the guidance of a senior engineer
- Assist in inspection and rehabilitation of waterfront structures throughout the US and Caribbean
- Create detailed inspection reports and support quality assurance checks
- Investigate and resolve design issues through fieldwork and analytical assessments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a high attention to detail
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
