Qualifications and responsibilities for this Paving Superintendent position include:
- 5+ years of experience in asphalt paving, including 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Experience managing residential and commercial paving projects (driveways, parking lots, county roads)
- Strong understanding of mix designs, compaction standards, and grade control
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities with paving crews
- Solid grasp of OSHA construction safety practices and ability to conduct safety meetings
- Skilled in using project scheduling and management software
- Ability to coordinate traffic control measures and ensure MDOT compliance
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
