Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mold Maker position include:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in plastic injection mold making or tool design
- Design molds for plastic injection molding and create detailed bill of materials
- Operate Haas 3-axis vertical mills, surface grinders, manual lathes, and other machining equipment
- Program CNC machines using Mastercam or similar CAM software
- Utilize SolidWorks for tool design and programming
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models to produce precision mold components
- Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools to ensure tight tolerances
- Troubleshoot mold and machine issues while repairing and maintaining molds for production efficiency
Salary: $25 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
